3 Refund Refunds for unused classes (5)* Available Available Available Available Available Available

(1)* Parents must ensure that the pack of sessions they have signed up for is completed within the given time frame for the selected course package. This has been decided considering any cancellations that might occur while the course is running, due to teacher leaves, unavailability of the learner or any other unforeseen issue. In case of class cancellations due to teacher unavailability, public holidays or technical issues, the course validity period will be extended as applicable.

(2)* Parents are advised not to request batch or time changes once a learner is enrolled, as it hampers the learning and teaching experience. However, in exceptional circumstances, such requests will only be entertained up to a certain number within a given duration, as mentioned in the table.

(3)* If a student is unable to join a particular class, the parents should let us know (on WhatsApp @+919958317032 or via email - hello@talentgum.com) at least 4 hours in advance. This allows us to inform the facilitator accordingly. In case the team is not informed 4 hours in advance, the student shall be marked as absent, and the missed session will be deducted from the purchased course package.

(4)* After a long leave, TalentGum does not guarantee that the same batch (in case of group sessions) or teacher (for group & individual) will still be available for the learner. In case, the student misses 4 consecutive classes without intimation to the TalentGum team and is unreachable, the student will be marked as absent, and the batch shall be dissolved to release the designated teacher's time slot. However, We will try our best to accommodate the learner with a teacher or batch timing that they are most comfortable with as per their purchased course package.

(5)* TalentGum team shall offer a refund for unused classes within the course validity period in case the learner is dissatisfied with the course or if our team is unable to give the learner sessions at the time agreed initially during enrolment. However, the company shall not initiate a refund in the following scenarios-

- If the Payment is made in parts and not in full for any chosen course package

- Unable to provide the same teacher or timings after the learner comes back from a long leave (4 sessions or more)

- Unable to accommodate a batch or time change request made by the learner.

(6) All refunds will be issued nett of Bank charges and a registration charge of Rs 4000/- or equivalent. In case, the client has availed of a promotional offer, which included complimentary classes, those classes will not be considered while calculating the refund.

Note: If you have opted for an EMI payment option for our courses, the interest amount will be deducted before calculating any refund.

Student Conduct & Classroom Etiquette

  • Students should not join a class late. Joining late takes away from the teaching time of the facilitator. Joining once the class has started will make the student feel lost and will also disrupt the flow of the rest of the batch’s session if the facilitator attempts to bring the student up to speed.

Group (1:5 and 1:2) Sessions: These sessions are for 50-55 minutes. Sessions cannot be extended beyond the assigned hour as our facilitators might have other classes.

Individual Sessions: These sessions are for 40-45 minutes and cannot be extended beyond the assigned hour as our facilitators might have other classes.

  • Students should be at their desks and logged in 5 minutes before class starts, so they are ready to start the session on time. Their cameras should also stay on at all times during the class.
  • Students should set up their study space in a quiet room away from distractions. For example, they should not sit in a place where their parents and other family members may be walking around or talking in the background.
  • Students should speak one at a time, to ensure everyone in the classroom can participate and be heard. Their microphones should be muted until it is their turn to speak.
  • Students should use the ‘raise your hand’ function on zoom when they want to speak or participate in the activities.
  • Students should be prepared with all the materials required for a class, for example, art materials, a pencil and a notebook for taking notes, a bottle of water, any musical instrument required and any assignments/homework from previous sessions.
  • Students should not use their phones or play with any other toy or gadget during the class. They should also refrain from eating or drinking beverages during the class, as that can be very distracting for the other students. They will also not be able to talk or participate during class if they are eating.
