  • Validity Period: To ensure your child completes their learning journey successfully, all sessions must be finished within the listed weeks (14/29/60). We may extend validity only if classes are missed due to teacher unavailability, public holidays or technical issues on our side.
  • Change Requests: We limit batch/time/teacher changes (1-6 requests based on your plan) to maintain consistency in your child’s learning. Frequent changes can disrupt their progress and the group’s dynamic.
  • Cancellations: Sessions can be canceled through the Student Dashboard up to 1 hour before the scheduled class time. Alternatively, you may inform us via WhatsApp at (+91 99583 17032) or email (hello@talentgum.com) at least 4 hours in advance, to request a cancellation. This ensures fair schedule adjustments. Please note that sessions missed without prior notice will be deducted from your plan.
  • Long Leaves (>4 Sessions): If your child needs to pause classes for 4+ consecutive sessions, we’ll do our best to retain their teacher/batch upon return. However, this isn’t guaranteed—recordings or alternate batches will be offered to keep them on track.

2. Refund Policy

1. Refund Calculation Based on Class Usage

Refunds are determined by:
  • Counting your attended classes, and Charging those classes at the standard rate of the shortest eligible plan (3-month, 6-month, or 12-month).
For 6-Month Plan Purchases
  • If fewer than 24 classes have been taken, the cost will be calculated at the 3-month plan rate. The remaining balance will be refunded.
For 12-Month Plan Purchases
  • If fewer than 24 classes have been taken, the cost will be calculated as per the 3-month plan rate and any remaining balance will be refunded.
  • If 24–47 classes have been taken, the cost will be calculated at the 6-month plan rate and any remaining balance will be refunded.
  • If 48+ classes have been taken, the cost will be calculated at the 12-month plan rate, and any remaining balance will be refunded.

2. Discounts and Promotional Offers

  • Discounts or promotional offers do not apply to refund calculations. Refunds are based on standard non-discounted rates of the applicable shorter plan.

3. Please note the following:

  • Refunds are only issued for unused classes, after deducting the value of completed.
  • No refunds will be issued if the course validity has passed.

All refunds are credited back to the original payment method.

3. Schedule Adjustments

Time Zone Differences & Daylight Saving

While we try to accommodate scheduling preferences, Daylight Saving Time (DST) or time zone differences may require class time adjustments.

For group/buddy sessions, we may not always retain the same timing or instructor due to differing time zones. We will offer alternative options where possible.

Please note the following:

  • No refunds will be given for schedule changes due to DST or time zone differences.
  • Our team will assist you in exploring alternative batch timings, but some flexibility is expected in a group learning environment.
  • For group/buddy classes, you must select from the provided alternate options. If none work, we may offer one additional alternative (subject to availability).
    • No refunds will be provided if we are unable to accommodate further changes.
    • For more flexibility, we recommend upgrading to an individual plan.

Time Change Requests:

  • Time change requests must stay within your original time zone category:
    • Category 1 (IST): 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
    • Category 2 (IST): 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM
  • Requests outside these categories may not be accommodated.

4. Student Conduct & Classroom Etiquette

  • Students should not join a class late. Joining late takes away from the teaching time of the facilitator. Joining once the class has started will make the student feel lost and will also disrupt the flow of the rest of the batch’s session if the facilitator attempts to bring the student up to speed.

Group (1:5 and 1:2) Sessions: These sessions are for 50-55 minutes. Sessions cannot be extended beyond the assigned hour as our facilitators might have other classes.

Individual Sessions: These sessions are for 40-45 minutes and cannot be extended beyond the assigned hour as our facilitators might have other classes.

  • Students should be at their desks and logged in 5 minutes before class starts, so they are ready to start the session on time. Their cameras should also stay on at all times during the class.
  • Students should set up their study space in a quiet room away from distractions. For example, they should not sit in a place where their parents and other family members may be walking around or talking in the background.
  • Students should speak one at a time, to ensure everyone in the classroom can participate and be heard. Their microphones should be muted until it is their turn to speak.
  • Students should use the ‘raise your hand’ function on zoom when they want to speak or participate in the activities.
  • Students should be prepared with all the materials required for a class, for example, art materials, a pencil and a notebook for taking notes, a bottle of water, any musical instrument required and any assignments/homework from previous sessions.
  • Students should not use their phones or play with any other toy or gadget during the class. They should also refrain from eating or drinking beverages during the class, as that can be very distracting for the other students. They will also not be able to talk or participate during class if they are eating.
