It has come to the attention of M/s IG Infosystems (India) Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”) that certain unknown and unauthorised person(s) have created and are operating a fraudulent payment mechanism by impersonating the Company and unlawfully using its name, logo, and brand name “TalentGum”.

Such person(s) are, inter alia, utilising fake Razorpay merchant accounts, along with WhatsApp Business accounts bearing the numbers: +91-8969605802, +91-8102059057, +91-8102603595, and emails Kunalkumarofficial31@gmail.com & wecare@talentgum.com, for the purpose of soliciting and collecting payments from members of the public under false pretences.

The Company hereby unequivocally clarifies that it has no association whatsoever with the aforesaid fraudulent accounts, contact numbers, or emails, and has not authorised any such third party to collect payments on its behalf through the said or any similar unauthorised channels.

1. Nature of fraudulent activity

It appears that the said unknown person(s), with dishonest and fraudulent intent, have created a counterfeit merchant account(s) on the aforesaid platform by misusing the Company’s identity, logo and brand name “TalentGum”. The said account is being used to deceive unsuspecting customers into making payments under the mistaken belief that such payments are being made to the Company/TalentGum for legitimate services.

The Company was alerted to this fraudulent activity through a customer complaint and reiterates that any payments made through such unauthorised channels are not received by the Company and are solely at the risk and peril of the payer.

2. Fraudulent link – do not engage

Members of the public are hereby strictly cautioned against accessing or transacting through any unknown payment links that do not have the URL of TalentGum.

These unknown links that do not have the TalentGum URL are fraudulent and do not belong to the Company. The public is further advised not to share any sensitive financial information, including card details, UPI credentials, or OTPs, in response to any such unauthorised requests.

3. Verification of authentic payment channels

All genuine payment requests from TalentGum are sent only by our authorised sales representatives via their verified official phone numbers and emails. Every legitimate payment link carries the TalentGum URL. In case of any doubt, customers are strongly advised to contact the Company directly through the following official channels before making any payment.

4. Instructions in case of prior payment

Any person who has already made a payment through any fraudulent link is advised to take the following immediate steps:

1. Cease any further transactions with the said fraudulent entity.
2. Notify their respective bank or card issuer immediately and initiate appropriate dispute/chargeback proceedings.
3. Lodge a complaint with the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or contact the Cyber Crime Helpline at 1930.
4. Inform the Company at hello@talentgum.com, providing full details of the transaction, to enable necessary assistance and coordination with law enforcement authorities.

5. Action initiated by the Company

The Company has promptly reported the matter to Razorpay and has requested the immediate suspension and takedown of the fraudulent merchant accounts. The Company has also initiated appropriate legal action, including the filing of a formal complaint with the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and registration of a First Information Report (FIR) with the competent police authorities.

The Company is actively cooperating with relevant authorities to investigate the matter and to identify, apprehend, and prosecute the individuals responsible for such fraudulent and unlawful activities.

The Company has no association whatsoever with the contact numbers and the email addresses. Customers are strictly advised not to make any payments through any payment link that does not have the TalentGum URL or share financial details through such unauthorised sources.

All legitimate payment requests from the Company are made by the Company’s authorised sales representatives via their verified official phone numbers and emails. Every legitimate payment link carries the TalentGum URL. In case of any doubt, please verify directly with the Company before making any payment through the following official channels.
